In the midst of the Cape Town's cold (even though it is already Spring!) the school grounds are buzzing with all the activities here at Jan Kriel! Learners excel far and wide with sport and academics, Mr. and Miss Jan Kriel were crowned and there were impressive displays of talent at the annual cultural evening.
The annual Wine Auction and the Tekkie Challenge were particularly successful in the midst of the difficult economic climate. This proves once again that Jan Kriel's donors and friends are aware of and supportive of our learners' needs.
Kindness is to respond with love, compassion and mercy to people who are suffering, those who need our love and care. No, we cannot always restore all justice with a single act, but we can make many people's lives better with many small acts of love and compassion. This is how we begin to pass on the blessing we have received, to others.
