Learner Council training
We hosted our Learner Council training at the end of April, an inspiring and meaningful day full of growth, collaboration, and leadership in action. Grade 12 Exam Readiness Workshop
Our Grade 12 learners had the incredible opportunity to attend a dynamic and enriching Examination Readiness Workshop, aimed at equipping them with the tools, strategies, and mindset needed to approach the upcoming June examinations with confidence and purpose. Tug-of-war shine at SA Championships
The 2026 Junior season was a triumph for Jan Kriel School's tug-of-war teams, who participated in the SA Championships in Robertson. With 20 high school learners and 19 primary school learners participating, the teams showed their determination and talent on the ropes. The Barefoot team, who were participating in the championship for the first time, stood their ground against the more experienced schools. Gold, gold and more gold for Zinray!
Zinray Buis represented WP at the SASAPD National Championships at the end of March. He competed in the time trials on Sunday and also won GOLD for the 13.2 km race at Killarney. On Monday he won GOLD again for the 1500m and silver in the 800m at Coetzenburg. Western Cape Athletics β Stellenbosch
We are incredibly proud of our learners who participated in the Western Cape Athletics Meeting in Stellenbosch. The competition was tough, with athletes from WP, Boland and SWD competing against one another. Our athletes delivered excellent performances and represented the school with pride! Easter Greetings
