It was a hot but successful day at Jan Kriel’s annual in-house athletics day. The competition was extremely close, on and off the field. At the end of the day ELIM was awarded the Spirit Cup and WELTEVREDE won the Athletics Trophy, both clinching victory by narrow margins. Our Learner Council recently attended an exciting and meaningful camp where learners had the opportunity to grow as leaders, build teamwork skills, and strengthen friendships. In honor of Karel Kriel, the oldest living descendant of Jan Kriel’s family, the family provides an annual scholarship to one Jan Kriel matric learner for further studies.  This year, the Karel Kriel Scholarship was awarded to Matthew Sadoucas.
