Kiara makes us proud!

In November 2025, our RCL chairperson of 2026, Kiara Crous, was selected as one of 48 youth leaders to attend the National Youth Leadership Conference, hosted by Die Burger and Netwerk24.

This youth leadership conference is an annual highlight for young leaders in high schools and took place 7-12 December 2025.

This was the 67th time this conference has been held. She represented Jan Kriel School so well at the Youth Leadership Conference that she received recognition, as highlighted in Die Burger.

Kiara is a true example of perseverance, leadership and a heart for others. Her words remind us that obstacles don't have to hold us back, but can motivate us to do more and make a difference.

Thank you, Kiara, for showing what it means to be a leader who doesn't just talk, but does.
