Takunda shines bright

We are incredibly proud to share that Takunda Muchuweni, our 2025 Dux Learner, has been invited to the DBE Ministerial Matric Awards and has safely arrived in Randburg, Gauteng. This prestigious event recognises the top-performing matric learners in the country, and Takunda is one of only 44 learners selected nationwide, which is truly an outstanding achievement!
She is truly flying the Jan Kriel School flag high, and we could not be prouder of her dedication, perseverance, and excellence.
Takunda will be on stage Monday, 12 January 2026 for the official national release of the matric results, hosted by the Minister of Education — a moment of great honour and recognition.
Well done, Takunda! You inspire us all.
