Tekkie is bursting at the seams!

Jan Kriel's annual Tekkie Challenge took place on Saturday, September 6 in beautiful spring weather. A record number of approximately 3 000 participants took on the 5km fun run, the 10km Battle of the Sexes and the 16km challenge for long breaths.

A huge THANK YOU to FOOD LOVER'S MARKET who were once again the main sponsor. The Tekkie Challenge was a huge success this year with around 1 000 more participants than last year. The income from this event is earmarked for sport and sports development at the Jan Kriel School, which mostly includes expensive, specialist equipment for the disabled.
