Prestige Evening 2025
On 16 October, we celebrated our Annual Prestige Evening, a night dedicated to recognising excellence, perseverance, and growth across all areas of school life. Congratulations to all our award recipients for their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, culture, and sport. Wouter learns bravery
Wouter Smit's early years do not tell a friendly story. Due to his mother's drug and alcohol dependency, they moved around Gauteng without any stability. Wouter was never enrolled in Grade R and Grade 1 wasn’t much better - drifting between 3 different schools and also not completing the school year. Only after his mother's death in 2020, his father was able to obtain guardianship and he moved to Cape Town. But the challenges did not stop there. With no proof of formal school

Jan Kriel's Tree of Lights festival take placeon Saturday, 29 November 2025 at Jan Kriel School in Kuilsrivier. Come and join LEAH for a special full-length show and enjoy beautiful performances by leaners. Bring your camping chair or blanket and the whole family to witness the wonderful moment when we turn on the Liggieboom - with more than 10 000 lights! Food stalls available. Physical & Physics
Earlier in October the Grade 5 and Grade 6 learners attended a great fitness program, presented by a trainer. They learned more about teamwork, focus and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The learners really enjoyed participating in healthy competition, but also working together as a team! First tug of war of the season
What an experience! On Saturday, our school's tug-of-war teams kicked off their first match of the season – and what a day full of teamwork, perseverance and enthusiasm it was! The learners marched with pride and courage, supported by parents, staff and friends who celebrated every moment together.
